Hi Chaps,
Just a picture of the cupboard I made and fitted last week in our bedroom. With a big thank you to jasonb for spec'ing the blum hinges and fittings I needed :D

I'm pleased with the look of them but next time I'd make the bottom and middle rails larger to look 'right'.

I've been putting this job off for far too long (laid the floor around 3 years ago and never got round to replacing the old doors and frame).

Please note I am not gay, the accessories are all down to swmbo and look very nice if I do say so myself.

I'll be doing a similar project in the spare room in the near future as swmbo's approved these doors and would like more in a similar style (pun intended, stile (I'll get my coat)).

thanks

They look very tidy indeed great job, im putting off a full built in wardrobe in our room at home , i did the alcove last year and she has decided the end wall would be great if it was all robes and drawers , just how much hanging space does a woman need

About a 3/4 sized gallows should do. My wife is just the same taking up two and a half wardrobes, not to mention all the space under the bed for her shoes. I swear I have married Emelda Marcos!

Oh sorry, Great job of the doors.

She has this wardrobe, a 'christmas cupboard' above my very cramped half ish wardrobe) and under two beds!

hence the need to 'do out' the spare rooms cupboards.

Although since I met her, her collection of 29 (I kid you not) handbags has diminished too about 10. And her shoe collection has been heavily reduced. I think its an illness.

Well at the last count Imelda had 104 pairs of shoes, boots, slippers! That was a few months ago though. I did see a new pair of boots she was wearing the other day as she went off to Uni and asked her if they were new..."No" she replied..."I bought them last week" ! Who can figure a woman? :?

In SWMBO case 4 and a half wardrobes of her own plus stuff in my one and a half. Although if I were to be truthful I could manage with less (but I will not)
