Lightweight weapon.
Got a new toy, M330 Axminster mini lathe, and found this old gouge (got 80p quoted on the price tag stuck to the handle).

Careful using that gouge John, it looks more like a carving gouge than a machine turning jobby.
A bad catch might result in the tang breaking out of the handle and spearing you.
All you have to do now is try and reduce the capital cost per item of all the round bits of wood you produce. :lol:

Waiting to place another order with our friends for a turning kit, but just wanted to see if things turned round yesterday.
