Wish my first bowl had come out as good as that!
Personally I'd lose the foot, it has the width to stand well without it. Like the proportions of the light/dark bands
 
Better than my first one as well. My tip is you dont really need to bandsaw out round blanks. Just nibble off the corners until you get near the circle you have drawn. Little bit more roughing out needed but the bandsaw blade will last longer. Blades that cut circles tend to wander off line when you want to cut strait.

If I have a wide blade in the bandsaw I just cut the blanks square then take the corners off so they are octagonal. It's pretty quick to turn that to round so there's no point cutting it further on the bandsaw.
Another alternative is to make square bowls! :)
