A nice, practical layout - now you have got the hang of it,how about a "workshop tour" ? (I'm sure I can see cupboard doors under the bench - there must be more to see  )

Andrew :D

I can see lots of empty space on that wall, now you could fill it with some lovely LN's, Veritas planes ect, but be careful of the slope once you're over the edge there is no going back, as a few of us can testify.

I agree with Andrew, give us a workshop tour.

Spokeshave, hand drill, Yankee and lots of saws (of a sort). Yep, definitely potential Slope material... Welcome to the forum, Phil.

Cheers, Alf

I have got a plane Waka and i would love to say I intend to buy more, but to be honest I have hardly used the one I have as I haven't got the skill. I depend on power tools to get effective results. I would never call my self anything but a enthusiastic amateur

OK, what are you going to make next?

One of the most used things I made last year and only required offcuts of timber was a spatula holder for 6 pieces.

No hi tech equipment needed, but used daily.

As I have mentioned on my workshop post, I am in the process of amking a scratch built adirondeck style chair. I'm making it in softwood first so that I avoid any mistakes when it comes to using hardwood. I also intend to make kids toys like this one I saw in Barcelona, it would probably be a good game for a drinks night.
