Make sure to sand all the edges very well,I can see some tell tale marks on the pine top egdes from the circular saw,those will definitely show up when you apply any finish.The stain in particular.Osmo do colour stains too,check them out as the Osmo finish is easy to apply and the finish can be outstanding if applied well.
