Hi all,
I have been doing a repair and rebuild of an indoor pine table that will now be used outside. I have sanded it all and now it is ready for a finish. The misses likes the light colour the table has taken and I want to preserve it. Will finishing it with boiled linseed oil have this affect and will it protect it outside?
How many coats of boiled linseed oil should I put on?
How long should it take to dry, ready to be put outside?
I was going to apply a clear outdoor lacquer after the boiled linseed oil, is this just over kill or should I do it to ensure protection?
Cheers
