I got this lot of tools on ebay, as you can see for a got price, when you think a bedrock look is like a no8c is I there with a few other goodies,
http://bit.ly/1boNbBY
And after I won't he a day later replyed oh, there is a problem one of the bigger planes has gone missing!!
I'm not stupid,
He's basically screws me and selling it on,
The things I'm feeling are not advisable I assure you
No worries I can get the rest for a reduced price "junk"
That bedrock is the only good thing there. The rest is ****.

What actions can I take? There must be rules agains this on ebay??

Lucky he not more local......

TT

Dishonest, disreputable yes, can you do anything about it, no.
If he says its gone missing how can you prove otherwise :?

Revalue the rest, and ask for a refund for the difference.

Was receipt signed for- if not then claim not received through PayPal.

To be honest, as the buyer you should be well protected through PayPal.

Have you actually bought the stuff? Ebay pretty good on this sort of thing and the buyer gets preferential treatment. Quite right too. Tell your seller you are not satisfied - if this doesn't work raise it as a case with ebay.
If you haven't bought it than there is nothing to be done if items are withdrawn for whatever reason.

I haven't payed any money yet was going to sort him cash so he didn't have to pay fees, I've not lost anything but am a tad annoyed that the seller has done that.
Safe to say I've chilled out and realised it wasn't ment to be.
I'll leave some good feedback tho :)

I know I can't prove that it went missing but it's funny that it's the bedrock and not the woodie or a no4
My fault really for getting my hopes up :(

Just watch out for that seller. He's a snake

Getting fed up with ebay
Thanks gent, night

Zzzzzzz.

im getting sick and tired of ebay, the only winners are ebay! why can't i leave neg feedback for timewasting tw@ts!

yet some twerp leaves me neg feedback for the cr@ppest reason i have ever seen, claimed the item was basically what he had selected!

do ebay do anything when i complain? do they hell!

adidat

also interesting that he lost the largest plane!

i may contact him and ask "if i buy that sh@te bed your selling is there any chance you will lose it?"

adidat

Dunno about the sh*te bed but I sure wouldn't give him 5p for the rotten old oak boards let alone £500 I can get better from the timber yard I go to for less.

I don't think there is any point in leaving -ve feedback. As far as I know, if you haven't paid, the transaction will just be cancelled and all feedback associated with the transaction will be deleted by e-bay. That, at least, is what happened to me when I left -ve feedback for somebody.

Edit - slightly different circumstances as it was me as the seller leaving -ve feedback for a non-paying bidder.

Cheers

That's my point, not being funny but it's a (no7 or8) 22"+ how can you loose it, I bet he didn't check down the sofa, then again it's not a set of car keys :)
Anyways it's a new day time to move on.

I still have a craving to buy something tho, I know I'll put a bid on something by email, that will make me feel better.

Have a good day gents,

Don't pay, contact eBay if -ve FB is left.

He's been a member since 2006 and has only sold 8 items, so this maybe one of several eBay accounts he has.

What you have also done is give everyone here reading this thread a heads up to someone who may 'try it on' when selling on eBay, for that I thank you.

Zooming in on the picture it looks like some damage on the cheek of the No8, so you might have dodged a bullet.
