Morning all - I have been busy making some bandsaw silver birch log boxes (ready for Christmas) and some have developed splits on the sliced off wood. Moisture content was 12 - 14 percent so maybe I should have left a little longer. So would like to fill the cracks with colored, red yellow etc filler rather than sawdust n glue. Can any body suggest a product - thanks will post pics soon. Thanks for any help.

I have used Epoxy coloured with coffee to fill pips in pippy oak, so any colour powder paint should work.

What about the coloured fillers you can buy in small tubes for use with kitchen worktops. Not sure what range of colours are available but any kitchen/worktop supplier should have some.
