Not filing, that would be under metalworking. Filing. One of my 2 favourite workshop storage tricks. The other is a French cleat all the way round the workshop walls. These office/commercial units are cheap and plentiful - and the office ones are normally quite solid. Some smaller machines are only used occasionally so I can wheel them out of the way, (upgrade the castors for the heavy items) and you get loads of storage just where you want it too. Just got a couple of narrow ones today - one to go under bench and a spare. I think I have enough now!

Great idea but aren't they on the low side ?

My bench drill sits on Grannys old freezer, rock solid but wasted space.

The heights vary, but where tables end up on the bandsaw and p-drill are about ideal for me. The one with the little cheap chop-saw on is certainly low - that one was just 'I have it so use it'. Also struck me, 2 of those (matching) and a door would make a very capable assembly table / light duty bench!!
