Last time I was home merrily sanding away with the ROS 150 the sanding disc flew across the workshop. that doesn't seem right I say to myself. On further investigation I find that the sanding pad has lost its sticking ability.
I gave festool a tinkle and was asked to send that sanding pad back to them for investigation, this done I patiently waited for a reply, this turned up yesterday and I was informed that the pad does wear in time using the festool sanding disc, but even faster if you use none festool sanding disc's.
I have to say that I have had a good 2 years out of the pad and in that time it has given a lot of duty.
So out with the plastic and ordered a new sanding pad from Axminster.
Has any other festool owners come across the same problem.
