I have a pair of KA-UG-R/L Trimming Attachments for sale (Festool part number 497514). These 'material support extensions' attach to the sides of the KAPEX mitre saw, the UG-KS 120 (or KS88). They have been fantastic, up until I built in my mitre saw, so I no longer need them.
They both extend out to 2.4m with an integrated adjustable leg and have a lovely clear metric scale and length stops.
They have seen only DIY use over the years, with a few minor dings and scrapes to the aluminium, which don't affect their operation. They also come with end protecting carry case and a strap to hold them together for easy transport.
