Festool Domino wont switch off.

As it says in the title. I do not use it too much. Still have 50% of the dominos it came with. Keep it clean. Any ideas?

Assuming it is not under warranty still, open it up and see what is wrong? can't be any worse than wanting a new switch surely.

Any normal power tool, such as a Router, I would suggest it could possibly be an ingress of sawdust.....But the Domino has to be used with a dust extractor, so its unlikely to be that.

As Myfordman suggested, if it's out of warranty, take it apart and test the switch is operating correctly.
Does the sliding switch still click forwards & backwards....??

I thought they had a lifetime warranty against defects, phone them up and explain, they may just repair. Is it a 500 or 700?

3 year warranty in the UK....

If it was mine I would give Festool a call simply because I'm not the tinkering type.

They guarantee 10yr availability of spares. It'll just need the switch cleaned out or replaced.
