Hi,

Anyone have one of these saws? If so how do you rate them?

Cannot seem to find much info on them.

Thanks

Hi MrD. I have had a cs50 precisio for a couple of years now. Its a mobile site saw rather than a workshop saw. I bought it for its light weight, and have all the extras that go with it. Rear table, side table, sliding side carriage. Its very accurate and easy to use. Expensive. I love it and can highly recommend it.

another similar-ish option is to go the Festool CMS way. There is a tablesaw option for the CMS which allows you to invert a TS55 as a table saw. However, from time to time (I got mine a couple of years ago) an old-style Basis table comes up on ebay (I think it is the Basis 1A insert you need which together with the old ATF55 saw make a sliding table saw similar to the Precisio ones - that way you can use the CMS as a sliding table saw but at other times use it as a router, an inverted jigsaw etc etc.
I just used it this weekend to cut some fine Victorian moulding after it had been through the spindle moulder (thanks STEVECUV for the cutters - fabulous) - and it gave a great finish to the moulding edge

Thanks for your replies, especially BHENRY1 who may have convived me.

Just looking at fesstolowners website thanks Chippy.

Gasman, I had looked at that but seems expensive when you add all the bits up.

Thanks
MrD
