Have a Felder AF14 in the shed, in a box currently but hope to assemble it soon. It’s a 140mm port and the Hammer machines that it connects to are 120mm

anyone have an alternative to Felder for buying ducting, connectors etc? Also looking for blast gates

When I was connecting up a range of Felder machinery to a Felder dust extractor I looked high and low for a cheaper alternative...but failed miserably.

Damn clever these Austrians, they've figured out how to make us pay absolute top dollar for simple bits of piping!

If Ive understood the problem correctly then google 120 mm to 140mm fan adapter or duct adapter or even consider a Floplast Underground Flexible adapter might fit, hope Im on the right track.

This is how I reduced down by 10 mm in diameter, just a strip of vinyl flooring. Not what you would call posh but it’s been working like that for 8?years

Hi,
I have the Felder RL125 extractor which is hooked up to 4 Felder/Hammer machines.
I have done 150mm spiral ducting from all the machines back to the extractor and the last small run is done on flexible pipe reducing down to 120mm.
I purchased all my spiral ducting, bends, blast gates etc from EVC on e-bay.
Although they might not be the same quality as the Felder ones they certainly were one hell of a lot cheaper.

Mark.

Thanks all. I’ve sourced some 127mm semi rigid duct ( a slurry pipe from local farm suppliers!!). It’s not an entirely smooth I.d

I also have some 125mm pvc pipe which has a smooth id.

Have some blast gates and connectors on order

Butyl tape and jubilee clips to join it all together, it won’t be pretty but fingers crossed it’ll be functional..
