Hi everyone
Here is another one of my extreme birdhouses.
This one is made from 120 yr old reclaimed barn wood.

John,
what type of birds are attracted to your wonderful houses? I bet they have to sit on the housing list for years.

Andy

Beautiful work. I'd also like to know what kinds of birds colonise your creations, or does the cat scare them off.

Thank you everyone for all the great replies.
I am not much of a bird expert . i know i have wrens, swallows, and yellow canaries.
the rest i have no idea.
there are 7 or 8 birds nesting in each of them now.

i try different size holes on each birdhouse to attract different types of birds

thanks again
john

Thanks
john

Hi John

I love your work.

We don't run to birdhouses in our garden, but as we feed the birds we do get lots of visitors.

Cheers
Neil

56 rooms,

The thought that came to mind was;

I'd like to teach the birds to sing in perfect harmony. :)

Lucky birds over there.

To John in Cranbrook

May I seriously recommend a bird bath to be set up next to your creation above.

Our one in the picture below normally has a long queue waiting their turn for a dip.
