For all of us with extraction hose issues due to differing sizes then maybe this item from Fastcap may help, FastCap Uni-Vac Hose Connector fits outlets from 1/4" up to 2-1/2" and the other end to all vacuum hoses with an inner diameter of 2-1/4" or an outer diameter of 2-1/2".
