I was given a sample of this some months ago. Looks like normal PVA. Google says it is used for laminating paper board and general bookbinding so I thought it would be of no use on timber joints etc. I thought I try it out so I took two bits of 2x1 about 6" long applied the glue and clamped it in the vice overnight. Next day I couldn't part it so I dropped it in the water butt to see what would happen. Then forgot all about it until about a week later when my wife lifted the lid to see how much water was left in and asked what were these pieces of wood doing in the butt. She picked them out and they lay on the bricks for a while until I tried to part them. They seem as solid as when they were first glued. Next I will try it on some mortise and tennon joints in some scrap wood and hope for the best. :D :D

That's one step closer for my plan to build a wooden unsinkable submarine!
