European Oak Deals?

Hi all,

A brief foray out into the wide world from the Turning & Lathes forum.....

....anybody stumbled upon any good deals on 1" Character Oak lately - about 50 cube ?

If you have, let me in on the secret, please....

Hi Scrums,

What's it to be used for? I know a guy in Kirkby Stephen who has a mill and specialises in Local timber, he deffo does good Oak, i'm not sure about the character grade stuff- sounds like a Boddies special to me.

I get my oak from either vasterns in wooton basset or ukoak in corby - but both are a bit far from lancaster to be much help to you

Theres a sale day at British Hardwoods on 5th December - might be worth checking out.
