English walnut

Hi can anyone point me in the right direction for a supplier of english walnut as I need to purchase some for a college project

I've got one down the garden great big thing gota be 30-40inch round however the wife has said if I go any where need HER walnut tree it divoice time :shock:

So the next time she's on my case, out with the chainsaw you can have ya walnut and I'll get rid of the wife, sortted

Theres a couple of places Dave which are fairly local to you either stuart somerscales http://www.stuartsomerscales.com/ they have it on there price list or Nelson Butler im going on monday to buy a load of brown oak from them http://www.nelsonbutlertimber.com/ They had english walnut it in last time i was there and are probably the closest to you at horncastle. I would reccomend ringing them first to see what they have got in stock as you could have a wasted journey

There was a company who used to advertised in the back of the magazines; their advert always said that English walnut was "now available"... Think it might have been these guys: http://www.lincolnshirewoodcraft.co.uk/. Might be worth a look.
