email address ?

I emailed a friend from my address book, she replied with no problems.

I then replied using the reply button on her email and it was returned to me "user unkown"

I then realized that by replying using the reply button her address was wrong i.e. her proper address is like qwerty6 @ tiscali.co.uk but when I pressed the reply button on her email to me her address is being shown as qwerty @ tiscali.co.uk the 6 in the address is missing.

How can this be corrected?

I think she may have her mail program set up incorrectly.

There is an option on most mail clients to have the replies sent back to a different address, if this is entered wrong then the replies can get bounced or even go the the wrong mail box. You don't normally have to use this feature, if a different reply address is not configured then the one you are sending from should be automatically used.
