ELU P/T blades

Can anyone tell me where to buy new blades for the ELU 1161 P/T. I know you have one Colin c where do you buy your blades. I don't need any at the moment but just in case for future reference. Many thanks.

I got my spare set from a shop near me about £30 -£35 I think but you can try Here as I have heard good things about them and will give them a try the next time I need some

Ps I know they do them as I have checked

Many thanks Colin, will give them a try. i have just replaced a set in the machine and provided I don't hit anything with them should be OK for a while. Best have a spare set just in case though. :wink: I thought I could use the magnets set into the MDF to set the blades as I do my smaller jointer but these blades have a set screw that locates in the blade. It took me around an hour to set them up after changing them using the old marked stick method. I guess I will just have to get used to it and I may get quicker. :?

Thanks Colin, I am sure it does. I am a bit out of practice as I use the magnet trick on my other machine as it is has cast tables.

I've a similar model (Elu 1151) and I picked spares up off eBay.

I did quick search on "elu planer" and came up this this one here
