egg light 'T' cups...??

Here's a batch of half a doz egg cups cum 'T' lights i've finished off this afternoon for one of the ladies at work.....

originally she wanted just egg cups...... but i thought what a waste of a good looking piece of wood..... mainly sat in a cupboard in her kitchen out of sight.

So with a bit of chin scratching and crumpet munching, i came up with the idea of a 'T' light holder with a rounded bottom to hold the egg...... simples...

I hollowed/rounded the bottom using a small size egg, so large ones just sit on the rim, and small ones nestle down inside a bit more.


After seeing some i made the other week (for one of the other ladies) she also wanted some. But these i made a little less fancy (the others had a couple of inscribed lines in the bottom too).

An easy few hours work (mainly finishing) for a few squids towards the next chisel......
