Ecosia - the search engine that plants trees

I use it, it uses the bing search engine. Not bad for searches, privacy policy pretty good. I always used duck duck go and was pleased with that but if this plants trees…well….it has my vote.

I've been using it a few years, works fine for me. Apparently I've planted 9 910 trees so far, tho I guess that means seeds dropped from a drone or whatever.

Ecosia? It does sound rather Scottish ............ might be offputting.

Don't know about the search engine but I have physically planted over 330 trees on the school grounds, they're from the woodlands Trust free trees for schools, 10 to 15 years from now I start coppicing them and storing the wood to season for the lathe
