Hi, As anyone had any experience of the Record Camac dust extractor. Thinking of maybe getting one for my BS300E bandsaw if my old damaged back holds up.

if my old damaged back holds up.
I think most of them have wheels, so theres no need to carry it about ;)

I've no actual experience of using one but they were in my list when i was looking to choose something about the £400 mark.
Eventually went with a big chipping extractor, mainly because it was £155 off.

I haven't used one but I think you will be fine.

It will cope with the bandsaw easily, probably a table saw and P/T if you use it conservatively and take off less than a 1mm per pass.

I'm thinking your'e right, I'll mainly be cutting 5-10mm ply and a lot of that will be cutting into it rather than in sections so more of a fine dust.

I have a sheppach HA1000 extractor which is similar but half the price. Very good extraction if a little noisy.
