SWIMBO'S off to the South Atlantic in a few months and as an civie MOD person is entitled to drive military Landrovers as her main mode of transport. She was instructed to turn up at Tidworth yesterday for a one day general 'get to know your Landy, bit of off-roading' kind of day....transpires now the course is for 10 days  which includes convoy driving, motorway experience, trailer towing as well as wading thu' the mud across the ranges. I had this type of thing as a complimentary half-day course when I got my Landy a couple of years ago and similar courses are available thru' Landrover at about £350 a day.....some people have all the luck :x - Rob

Agreed Paul, she will....but I won't  . When she gets home tonight it'll be, in her best gloatworthy voice ....'well dear, you'll never guess what we did today, I never thought a Landrover could go thru' a puddle so deep' etc etc...- Rob

rob, you mean she is going to be one of the VERY FEW women in the country that will actually know how to drive a landy proply! you should be proud of her. i did it for 12 years, good fun.
