Dremel Footswitch

The Dremel footswitch seems unavailable in the UK--I have searched the web.

a) Do you use an alternative quality footswitch that will fit the Dremel?
b) There seems loads of footswitches on the market, how do I know which ones will fit Dremel? Which one's to avoid?
c) Does the footswitch need to be a certain wattage?
d) Does the Dremel power chord (13 amp mains plug) just plug into the footswitch?--- (Newbe to footswitches!)

Ok well then any foot switch will do that job. Very cheap on ebay and easy to wire. Personally I wired mine into an extension cord so I can use it on multiple tools. It mostly lives on the drill press as it is a great safety feature there.

As said above I fitted mine in an extension lead and I could use it on other tools including a Dremel
