Hi there, I'm new here so hi everyone. I hope someone can help. I just bought a cheap Draper Plunge saw from Wicks that comes with 2 x 700mm rails. I'm looking for longer ones like 2 x 1.5m but larger draper ones seems to be out of stock everywhere. Maybe they are discontinued now. Anyway does anyone know if any other makes of rails will fit a Draper Plunge saw.
Many thanks
Greg

Do you know anyone who has a track saw? If so, try yours on their rail. Another option is to go to a proper shop that sells a rail and try the saw.

From looking at the Draper pictures, the splinter guard and raised guide part of the rail look identical to Festool/Makita/Evolution. It is the 'outside' of the rail (where the anti-tip groove is on a Makita rail or where the anti-kickback on a Festool would attach) that differs.

That may or may not be important and the only way you will find out is to try it.

Screwstation and Toolfix sell the Evolution version, so you could buy, try and return if it does not work.
