draft proofing rebate locks

Is there anything out there, either a specific lock or piece of kit that can fully draft proof a rebate lock and french doors.

It is a constant problem!

Suggestion from my locksmith son:

"He could mount an extension to the the rebate to overlap the slave door and on the edge of the overlap on the face that touches the slave door, he could route in a groove to accept and rubber sealing strip. I've seen this on doors before and it works well."

There are various surface mounted seals available - example below. I fitted a similar one to a customers door last year - easy to fit, and a huge reduction in draughts.

Don't forget some sort of moveable flap over the external keyhole.
