Dovecote plans

Hi, Does anyone have plans for a dovecote they can share with me?
My wife will be hitting a milestone and she wants me to make her one. I wish I had taken her seriously but that is all she can come up with when I ask what she wants.

You could trawl through that lot and get enough data to make a start.

I have made a couple of dovecote's. Before going any further, we need to know how many pairs of birds you want it to house and whether it is to be pole mounted or wall mounted. The latter is much quicker and easier to make.

Pole mounted is what i have in mind and 4-6 pairs maximum. I think she wants it more as a garden feature more than anything but she has mentioned getting doves so i wouldn't rule it out.

A friend of mine had one many years ago and he always said the doves were a pain in the neck maybe do some research?
