Aerolite was developed during WW2 for glueing together Mosquitos and the like, so I was told at school in the '60s.  Excellent, if b. expensive.

Incidentally, I did an experiment some while ago with the hardener - it works on Cascamite as well.  The branded hardeners are respectively (iirc :) )  formic acid and phosphoric acid. Or maybe the other way around.  They seemed to be interchangeable in use.
