This is the latest incarnation of a display/storage unit for SHMBO!

This version ends up with doors that are approximately 600 wide and 1200 tall. I'm a little concerned that this is a bit on the big size and with glazed panels (4mm toughened) may be too heavy for 3 butt hinges?

I haven't worked out actual stock size yet but I'm reckoning on about 20mm thick so there will be a fair bit of weight there.

Should I be using more hinges or am I being over cautious?

Thoughts appreciated.

As mentioned in your previous thread, 4mm glass weighs about 10 Kilos/sq metre; a 600 x 1200 door with ~100mm rails & stiles and a 25mm rebate will have less than 5 Kg of glass in it, so 3 butt hinges should be plenty.
