Drill proof and bump proof, makes no difference in the UK, you need to look for a kitemark, and the British Standard 3621:2004.

IMO typical American door security is woeful, and I'm speaking as a locksmith. Honestly, things get marketed as 'high security' in the states because they use a strike plate with 2.5" screws instead of 1.5". The size of the latches and bolts they rely on secure their homes is staggering, and most of it would yield to a size 12 or a crowbar in a few minutes.

If you want to get attractive door hardware, get down to an architechtural ironmongery supplier. Don't expect to buy a lock with fancy decorative elements included which is worth a damn security wise in the UK, you'll need to buy a couple of good deadlocks for security, and then add whatever tickles your fancy decoratively as an additonal lock.
