Doer Compact Tool Kit

A friend asked me about a "Doer Compact Tool Kit"
TBH I've never heard of it and have no idea if it's worth it.
He has very limited space and quite likes the unit.

Looks fairly similar to the previous offering some years back, I cant remember what it was called, which apparently was useless... to much play ect crap batteries.

I think that if something is designed to do more than one job, it invariably doesn't do the first job properly.

To me it looks like one of those things custom designed and made for the sole purpose of selling. Not for being used at all.

If we throw away the work light and the lantern, that's 10 tools @ $50-$70 each. $50 for a lathe? I think not. $50 for a drill is questionable.

Perhaps if it came in pink I would be more enthusiastic.

I think it was called the power8 home workshop my dad bought one off qvc wasn't very good
