I machined some Oak up today and made a start on the display cabinet. This will have glass doors and glass shelves and be wall hung.

Well the glass arrived for this and couldn't be drilled to my specs so it was back to the drawing board! I had to add a face frame to it to take the new pivoting hinges. After running around like a mad man I got it ready for re-assembly again. I had already stained it so had to re stain it all again before putting a finish on it. :x

Well after all the problems with this it is almost finished.

I had to screw it to the workshop racking so I could fit the doors and test it all. Glad to say with a little jiggling the doors fitted well. I am just waiting for some blue screw caps to arrive now and it's ready to be delivered and fitted. :D

I got it fitted today finally! Customer was very happy with it I am glad to say and has given me another small job. :D He placed one of the trucks in there so I could get some shots of it in place. I shall get some more when I return when it will be full of them. ;)

Looks great. I think the Teak coloured stain gives a very pleasing colour.
