There has got to be a snappy response concerning "Size does matter" somewhere that is publishable on this forum but for the life of me I can't clean one up at the moment.

Looks like it shows the size of yer' wallet, if nothing else.

I'm already saving for the next one in the set which starts at 4 and with which you can measure up to 6 with. The beauty of this design and what makes it superior to the one we see here of course is that not having the first three inches you can use it anywhere.

So I assume no one this side of the pond bought it then. :D I like Bugbears comment "Looks like it shows the size of yer' wallet, if nothing else" I wonder if it was Patrick of Blood & Gore fame who bought it?

Just one more thought, did they ever make a six inch version? at $ per inch would it be worth twice the amount of this one?

In reply to CHJ, I could quote a joke thats sort of semi clean but It might be taken as racist

Patrick Leach operates under the eBay user ID of "mr.peabody". He was not the buyer in this case, assuming of course that he only has one user ID.

At approximately £460 an inch I won't be getting the metre version.

No but I have one of these - priceless and it's metric!

Also one of these but no real idea what it's for except my grandfather used to design railway locos in the early 1900's?
