I'm buying my first set of new blades for a Dewalt D27300. They 260x21x3mm and cost about £55 new from Dewalt or £30 as generic. Any chance the branded blades are worth it, and any idea whether these Elu blades would fit? They the same dimensions and seem to have the same fixings, and also only £16.

Ive used the Appleby blades on my older Dewalt DW1150 and I can reassure you that the quality is absolutely fine - sorry I can't tell you whether they fit for sure - but I do suspect that do fit - but seek a bit more reassurance on that front before you buy! Maybe message the seller!

DeWalt bought out Elu....so it's prob got Elu guts in the machine ....
I'm sure DeWalt and others just buy up the competion......
I have never bought genuine blades in all my years.....
Appleby are good as well as North London Saw comp....there are others that are UK based.....
NLS used to charge 25p per inch of blade if I rememeber.....
I had 3 sets for my Wadkin 18" planer, 1on the machine and 2 in the post....NLSaw were happy to post to France...
So u've no problem....

I have purchased new blades for my Kity planer from Appleby and would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody.
