Fairly new to woodworking and my current project is restoring a 6' Teak garden table and 6 reclining chairs.
First time using my DeWalt mini belt sander and have been amazed how good the supplied belts are... I have sanded all of the core structure, legs, supports and the outer segments of the table top back hard to remove years of staining and weathering with only 1.5 60 grit belts, that's a load of hardwood!
Done the finish sanding with my DeWalt random Orbit sander and only used 1 disk.
Is this normal or have I just been lucky? I was expecting to go through packs of belts and disks......
Have to say I'm well impressed and will happily buy their discs and belts again unless you knowledgeable people can recommend an alternative.
Not connected with DeWalt, just very happy with their abrasives
Jon.
