I missed several of the political progs because it crossed with Sewing Bee. Not that I sew anything nowadays but I have done in the past.
The big personality (amongst various contenders) has to be Patrick Grant.
Well worth watching, even by woodworkers.

He did a good program about uniforms for the coronation I think it was. Interesting.
But don't overlook Esme. She's done so much over years.
