Cutting new shed door vertical or horizontal T & G

So got me a little 7 x 7 T & G garden shed which I need to cut a new door in to allow access to space behind it. The plan was to just frame out, brace, cut through and hinge the removed panel. This will mean the T & G will be running horizontally as opposed to vertically on the already fitted door. Any one see any issues doing this apart from obviously having to brace well so the T & G doesn't move?

If it were me, I'd splash out on a few new lengths of T&G and run them vertically.

Lets the rain drain off and looks better too.
