I am back again guys. I have just installed cutlist in sketchup and I am trying to make a cutlist up for a cabinet. No matter what I do it wont display it on an 8' x 4' plywood? Instead it just lists it as 6" x 8' boards. Where am I going wrong? :?

Wild arse guess. You haven't added one of the sheet words such as "plywood", "sheet", "MDF", etc. to the components' Definition Name so the plugin has no idea that you want those components sorted into the sheet good section.

Dave, I swear you are a mind reader mate. Yes that was the problem exactly. I didn't have any materials on the model and so it assumed they were all solid timber. I must remember to name the components materials in future. Thanks once again Dave what would we do without you on this forum.

Thank you, sir.

You don't need to apply materials to your model or change material names if you add one of the sheet words to the Component Definition Names. There are also "Part" words for things like hardware that shouldn't be included in with the timber or sheet sections.
