Hi all

This is the eight customer care survey for one of the companies in The List.

The result, and your comments, will be available as a link.

I am looking for you to vote on your personal experience of Wealden Tool, you can also post into the thread if you wish to make any further comments that you think would be useful.

Thank you for your participation.

I have added an option for "no personal experience".

Thanks,
Neil

I have also voted a 9. As Neil stated they are very helpful and the tooling is first rate. Worth paying for quality I think.

Excelent router bits, reasonably priced, next day delivery. A shining example.

I gave them top marks, great products, nice to talk to and very knowledgeable, super quick and efficient. My only qualification is that they have been so good so far, that I've had no problems with an order to really test their customer service - which is a sign of quality in itself of course. I can't imagine they'd be anything but excellent anyway.

(The hedging is because I am a bit hesitant about making this kind of judgment without having had an incident which tests a company's ability and commitment to putting things right after they have gone wrong, as well as their ability to deliver the goods right the first time. Rutlands bit me like that, I thought 'what's all the fuss about, I've always got my goods nice and quick, no problem', and then they sent the wrong thing on an order, and boy did I then find out how they earned their reputation while trying to get them to sort it out.)

Excellent every time I use them (and I use them every time!)

Cheers

I have been in a position with them where something went wrong - I can't remember whether it was a failed delivery or the wrong thing. All I can tell you is that the problem was resolved in one easy phone call and the replacement/ right part arrived in the next post.

9 from me!

Cheers

Tim

I thought that would be the case, Tim, and it's good to have some verification!

A 9 from me too - lots to choose from on their very helpful website, plus competitve prices and prompt delivery. One one occasion, there was a mix up with someone else's order, but it was sorted out very quickly with no inconvenience to me.

Excellent firm.

Took the words right out of my mouth......

.. another 9 here.

Edit.
Great website too - no bells or whistles, just the info you want in a way that's easy to find.

Hmmm, just looked at the results so far. Come on, own up, who gave them a 1? And more importantly, why?

How exceptionaly unusual. I ordered from them 14:00pm yesterday (Friday). The cutter was delivered first thing this morning (Saturday). I was so impressed I was going to post about it here. Always top notch service and the cutters are superb. 9 from me.

=D> =D> =D>

Also would like to hear why they got a 1?

I've used Wealden quite a few times and never failed to be impressed by the price, quality of the product, ease of the transaction and speed of delivery. They're my first choice for drill bits and router cutters. Although I have no reservations in awarding them top marks, that's not really a fair evaluation because I've never had to put them to the test when a transaction has gone wrong. There again, I can hardly criticise them for having failed to disappoint me  .

Who gave them a 1? Is Craig Revel-Horwood a woodworker?

Gill
