Curved Dovetail Keepsake Box

I made this for my mothers birthday,

very challenging but worth it, I used some flamed meranti, which came from an old door.

I thought I'd post it here this time instead of using the post what you made thread,

it's a paid project on woodworking masterclasses by paul sellers,

I think I'm going to make a few more of them out of different woods.

Very neat.

The pictures on the screen I'm using aren't all that clear (or possibly my eyesight is worse than I thought) - are the dovetails raked/angled (if that is the right word - aligned on the radius of the curve of the box is what I mean), or are they as normal and the sides curved after assembly?

Which ever way round it's a nice piece of work.
