Curved door

Many years ago, wanting to make a curved door I calculate that if I used coopered [panels and was 1/4 of a degree out My door radius would be out by over an inch. I developed this method using a router table and i think, three cutters. It is still in use and the PVA glue is doing its job. The idea h

as ben published a few times but thought that it may be of use to someone. I can provide more details if required

Cedar strip canoes are done this way. Lots of companies sell router bit sets to do it with. Same principal in a smaller scale.

Not a viable option on most kitchens though as customers generally expect the doors to match

Even some larger Canadian boats were done this way and look really nice. Some were exported to the UK ...perhaps in the 60s.....they are a pig to repair properly! I used matched molding planes to create new planking.
Doors look god tho.
