Hi

As per the title, I'm after an aftermarket/retro fit crown guard with a dust extraction port. My saw has a crown guard but has no port and I don't really want to start trying to cut it up and fit one. (not sure the plastic wouldn't shatter in any case)

I like the clear plastic ones if possible as I like to see what the blade is doing. I don't need riving knife/booms or anything else just the guard.

Can't see any on the usual sites, any ideas :?:

Saw is 10 inch

Thanks

Mark

If my ancient memory hasn't failed me....oh hell, what was I gonna say?... umh, oh yeah. Lord Nibbo? posted pics of a first class home brew version some time ago.

Hi,

I made my own guard, as part of my A-level coursework. I sized it to fit a 4" hose to allow for sufficient airflow. Here are a few pics:

A useful addition to that tablesaur set up would be a zero tol insert plate...just a thought - Rob

Thanks for the replies

I don't really want to make one if I'm honest though that certainly looks good.
