Hi all,
Has anyone done this? I have a Myford M type and was thinking to use the top slide to fix to the bed of my Union Graduate. Then I wondered about removing the M type headstock and re-fixing it on a hinged plate to make a rocking headstock. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with any of this, or any other ideas.

I would suggest you contact the Society of Ornamental Turners as a start.
They would have knowledge of any kinds of conversions, modifications and lathes for sale (ornamental and rose engine).

Adding I remember seeing carriages added to the bed that followed the Rossette so it moved in and out rather than the headstock rocking.
