The judges have started their deliberations and thus far I've had a result from Matthew in one category. Far too early yet for any outright winners to be declared...but watch this space  - Rob

he's a bloody tease that bloke.

Have you decided on your best thread yet??

Tom - it would be unfair to give all the results piece-meal, but once the results are in from all judges, and assuming that there are clear winners in each category, then the results will be posted 'en masse'
I've asked Woodfinish man to send His Nibbship the £50 voucher for finishing materials as a consolation prize, as he's going to auction both his Advanced category prizes...auction(s) to be set up shortly.
The WIP thread prize is going to be sorted out once all the main judging has been done and dusted - Rob

Rob

Yes he's contacted me about the voucher \:D/

Bloody Hell!

I'd better get a move on then!

I'll knock off early tonight and complete my deliberations then. It's still not to late to make contribtions into the account I PM'd you all with earlier!

Cheers
Brad

Three out of the four judges now have let me have given me the results of their deliberations and I'm expecting the last verdicts very shortly. There is a pattern emerging regarding the winners but until I receive the last judgement from MrT I won't know for certain...hang on in there! - Rob

Having entered all the results onto my spreadsheet, it's going to be a very close call 8-[ ...everything now hinges on Chris's deliberations! - Rob

what are the odds that it is a unanimous decision and Rob is just winding us all up ;)
Moi?...surely not   Seriously, it is fairly close and Chris's votes may well be the decider - Rob

Hi

You will be pleased to know that I have now passed on my results to Rob.
It was hard work as the work was of such a uniformly high standard and I was hampered by limited access to the internet since moving workshops.

Mr.T is a member of this forum? But he hates planes...

Exuse me! Where did you get that idea from, I get enough stick from the person with whom I now share a workshop for using my planes too often, let alone being accused of not liking planes!

Chris

After receiving Chris's results I can now post the results:

Advanced (both categories) : Lord Nibbo

Intermediate:

Winner: a four way tie, so I'd adjudicate and announce the winner after I've had a glass or four of vino

2nd place: Seanbaby

Beginner:

Winner: Frugal

2nd place: Jac55

Congratulations to those who have won and commiserations if you didn't come in the rankings, but you may still be in with a chance 'cos the next thing to do will be to award the WIP thread prize. I'll post a resume tomorrow of the judges notes that they included in their PM.
As regards the intermediate winner, I'm completely open to a bit a bribery and corruption  ... :-k :-k what was I saying about a Domino? - Rob

you big bloody tease

Well done Sean and Frugal and of course his nibbs
