OK that's Christmas over with =D>
I wonder if anyone can help me with the design of a clock?
Ages ago I was asked to make a picture incorporating a grob 109b, and after a year of pondering I think I have come up with something. My initial thoughts were to do it as inlay, and my ideas were getting a way ahead of my artistic and design skills, but more recently am thinking of just a simple frame style cutout kind of a thing and as a desk clock idea.
My design skills are zilch and I know a lot of you out there are seriously good at this sort of thing, so I wondered if you could cast an eye over this and let me know if I am going wrong somewhere or if there are better ways of doing it?
I am guessing I really need to get my clock insert first and design it around that?

Hmm, can't add the file as the forum doesn't allow pdf files, anyone know how to save a file from inkscape so that it can show on here? #-o

Yes, managed to get a silhouette with a slight degree of bank, that I will place so that it is connecting with the frame at three points :)

Easiest way is probably to export to PNG, then convert to JPG and resize it to get it small enough to post. I generally use XNView for converting and resizing but there's countless programs that will do the same.
