Finally finished my first Cigar Box Guitar recently and I’m really pleased with how it’s came out. I used reclaimed wood from a window frame for the neck, the fretboard is an unknown wood that I found at work and an old box that used to hold machine tooling for the body.
Fretting the neck was a headache but still good fun. I can’t play to save my life but it sounds good :D

Sorry, but thats too good to be a real cigar box guitar =D> =D>
cigar box guitars are rarely played (sadly)
I was influenced more than half a century ago by One String Sam (available on youtube) and I built my own one string a couple years ago, using a failed jewellery box and a lump of walnut.
No, I cant play it.

Well done on the CBG. They are also a hobby of mine. Have done about 20 of them so far. I took my first effort along the the ukulele club I attend and have been building them on request ever since. As to playing lessons for 3 string open tuned I reckon this guy is probably the best on utube at the moment.
