Chuck on Axminster WD13S

Hello,

Just received my Axminster WD13S pillar drill, and it looks great.

One small question (as there weren't any instructions regarding it included) but does the chuck just push on? If so, will hand-fitting it, and then winding it down against a piece of scrap wood fix it on sufficiently?

Or is there some other technique for doing this?

Clean and degrease both male and female taper, and just give it a good old shove, it should stay okay.
