Chisel id

Hi I bought these chisels at a boot sale I cant make out
The makers on either or what the stamps are (I've an
Eye test on Monday) can't come quick enough.

Any help in identifying these please and rough age
Out of interest.

The first one is I&H Sorby, the second is by Marples.

Both marks were in use for a long time so they are hard to date.

Thanks for that info Andy not sure if I will ever have use for the big mortise chisel but you never know I was thinking about making the sellars rebate plane using the firmer. I will have a read through that link later looks interesting thanks again.
